Fast Doctor, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) establishes this Fast Doctor Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as “this Policy”) to ensure the appropriate handling of user information, etc., in relation to the medical information provision and communication agency services, as well as the home-visit nursing services provided by the Company under the “Fast Doctor” service (hereinafter referred to as “this Service”). Unless otherwise defined, the terms used in this Policy shall follow the definitions in the Fast Doctor Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as the “Fast Doctor Terms”).

  • The Company collects the following information, including personal information as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as “Personal Information”), in this Service. Furthermore, the Company may collect and utilize personal-related information (as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 7 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information), such as browsing and search history, device information, log information, cookies, advertisement IDs, etc., to measure advertisement effectiveness, deliver targeted advertisements, and achieve the purposes outlined in Article 3. Such personal-related information will be handled in compliance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and related guidelines.
  • In cases where the Company stipulates the handling of user information, etc., in the privacy policy or Fast Doctor Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as “Terms, etc.”) published on the Company’s website, the provisions of this Policy, including purposes of use, shall apply in addition to those of the Terms, etc. In the event that the provisions of the Terms, etc. conflict with the provisions of this Policy, the provisions of this Policy shall prevail.
  • For the emergency house calls (including triage) and online medical services, etc., provided by the partner medical institutions, in addition to this Policy, the privacy policies established separately by the respective medical institutions shall apply. Users are responsible for referring to these privacy policies and determining whether or not to use such emergency house calls.
  • If a user utilizes this Service or home-visit services as a legal representative (such as a parent or guardian) of the person being consulted, the person being consulted will also be treated as a user, and this Policy will apply to their information as user information. The user is deemed to have agreed to this Policy (including any changes to this Policy, hereinafter the same applies).
  • If the user is not the legal representative of the person being consulted, the user must obtain the consent of the legal representative of the person being consulted (including consent to the application and any changes to this Policy) before using this Service.
  • This Service is not intended for use by minors. In the event that a minor uses this Service with the consent of their legal representative (such as a parent or guardian), and continues to use this Service after reaching adulthood, they will be deemed to have ratified their use of the Service as a minor.The Company complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other relevant laws and regulations to protect user information, etc. This Policy applies to the use of this Service (including services provided by the Company in connection with this Service).

The Company collects user information, etc., through appropriate means and does not use false or improper methods.

The Company will appropriately handle user information, etc., obtained through the use of this Service for the following purposes:

  • Identity verification and prevention of fraudulent use
  • Communication with listed medical institutions regarding applications for home-visit and online medical services
  • Improvement of service functionality
  • Smooth provision, maintenance, and improvement of this Service, including communication functions and integration with partner services
  • Conducting surveys regarding this Service
  • Notification and provision of new services related to this Service
  • Notification of changes to the Terms of Use, this Policy, suspension or termination of the Service, contract cancellation, or other important matters
  • Creation of non-identifiable or statistical data for analysis purposes
  • Confirmation, recording, and retention of service usage
  • Development of new services by the Company
  • Any other purposes incidental to the above

When a user applies for a home-visit or online medical service, the Company will provide user information, etc., obtained during this process to the listed medical institution. The listed medical institution will use the provided information for the following purposes:

  • Determining the necessity of home-visit services
  • Provision of home-visit services
  • Any other purposes specified in the medical institution’s privacy policy, etc.

Statistical data, etc., provided by the Company or third parties will be used for the following purposes:

  • Introduction or promotion of this Service
  • Research regarding the effectiveness of this Service
  • Analysis of advertising effectiveness
  • Market analysis and marketing activities
  • Development of new services

The Company will not provide user information, etc., including personal information, to third parties except in the following cases:

  • Based on user consent
  • When required by law
  • For the protection of human life, body, or property when it is difficult to obtain the user’s consent
  • For public health or the sound development of children when it is difficult to obtain the user’s consent
  • Cooperation with legal duties of government agencies when obtaining the user’s consent may hinder such duties

The Company may entrust a third party with the handling of all or part of the personal information obtained from users. In such cases, the Company shall exercise the necessary and appropriate supervision to ensure that the entrusted party manages the information securely and appropriately.

The Company may jointly use user information with listed medical institutions to the extent necessary for the provision of home visit services.
The user information jointly used shall be as follows:

  • Name, address, date of birth, gender, etc
  • Telephone number, email address, etc
  • Information entered by the user, such as consultation details provided in relation to this service or the home visit service

Listed medical institutions utilized by the user for home visit services, online medical consultation services, and visiting nurse stations.

Purpose of Use

  • For the smooth operation of this service and related services
  • For the provision of related services by partner companies or registered physicians of partner companies
  • For surveys and analysis of usage conditions, etc
  • To appropriately respond to inquiries from users

The Company provides the information collected in accordance with the previous paragraph to advertising distribution operators (hereinafter referred to as “Advertising Operators”) to deliver optimized advertisements customized to the needs, interests, and preferences of users, with the goal of providing useful information to users.

By using the deletion (uninstallation) function on the device to delete the app, the collection of user information, etc. can be immediately stopped. The user information, etc. collected during the use of the app and services will continue to be retained by the Company and handled in accordance with the purposes of use.The Company provides the information collected in accordance with the previous paragraph to advertising distribution operators (hereinafter referred to as “Advertising Operators”) to deliver optimized advertisements customized to the needs, interests, and preferences of users, with the goal of providing useful information to users.

If a user or their agent requests the disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or erasure of retained personal data, the Company will conduct the necessary investigations and respond in accordance with laws and regulations.

The Company shall review the operational status of the handling of user information, etc. as appropriate, and strive for continuous improvement, and may amend this policy from time to time as necessary.
If the Company amends this policy and the user continues to use the app or services or does not delete the app within the period specified by the Company, the user shall be deemed to have agreed to the amended policy.

Matters not stipulated in this policy shall be governed by the terms and conditions of the Company regarding the handling of user information, etc.
